The Fiddlesticks music curriculum is a unique creation based on the Kodály concept of music education. Amongst a wide-ranging repertoire of nursery rhymes, traditional chants, folk songs, singing games and art music of the great master composers, children acquire knowledge, skill and appreciation of music.At Fiddlesticks, children have access to the cellos during every class and, with or without instruction, playing strings quickly becomes a favourite activity.With Verity, learning to play the cello is important and fun and private lessons are something that some children aspire to. Any child who asks for more cello instruction during class time will get it and the entire group will benefit from the experience and exposure. ?
