Running August 20-24 in various Winnipeg venues, this year's fest will feature a number of free and tickets shows as well as community celebrations, workshops, film events, and industry networking. AMW will play host to a number of touring acts, including first visits from emcee Tall Paul, violinist Laura Ortman, music producer Astronomar, and hip hop duo Mob Bounce, and guitarist Logan Staats. The West End Cultural Centre (WECC) was established in 1987 when the founders and a team of committed volunteers set out to renovate an old church into a community arts facility.
