They purchased The Finishing Store in Victoria in 1996 and in Nanaimo in 1999. They felt that is was a retail store that offered a unique product assortment and presented a good opportunity to expand and grow the business. In 1997, they added milling facilities that helped offer customized products specific to the market on Vancouver Island.
