We use current, best practice research in the field of youth development, social work, adventure therapy and experiential education to ensure that programs are safe, engaging, meaningful and challenging. We design programs that incorporate our core values, and themes from the participants' daily lives and agency defined therapeutic goals and aspirations for their groups. This includes (but is not limited to): leadership development, character building, positive peer, family, and/or staff relationships, group cohesion, and coping strategies.+ Staff +Lise Brown, BRS, MIRSWMomenta Facilitator and OwnerLise completed her Bachelor of Recreation in 2001, and her Masters of Social Work in 2007. She studied community development, wilderness therapy, program evaluation, and co-occurring disorders. Lise completed a Certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy in 2012. Lise uses these skills to facilitate groups and counsel individuals both in urban and wilderness environments with a focus on physical and emotional safety, successful participation, fun, meaningful activity and group cohesion.

COPSE is the provincial government agency responsible for planning and coordinating the development of a post-secondary education system that promotes excellence and accessibility, facilitates the coordination and integration of services and facilities, and promotes fiscal responsibility and accountability. The name Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata translates from Ojibway into the phrase 'we all work together to help one another'.
