The technician Ben quoted the work and the price was fair and reasonable. He was able to do the job right after he quoted it. Everyone that I spoke with from start to finish made the experience easy. As a painter started twenty-three years ago, I took the Red River Painting and Decorating course, and started on my merry journey figuring I knew everything about my trade.My first job was at Community Painting and Decorating. The first project was exterior, and the boss told me to start painting the garage. At the end of the day my brush had as much paint on the handle as what was in the cutting pot. The brush had even more paint on it the next day, because it was apparent how useless I was. My boss was an expert in the trade, and an expert in giving a frantic verbal whip-lashing training technique. He was the best, and oh how I loved him!The technique was quickly improving, and I was becoming very neat, and clean at the projects. Some of the homes were so beautiful, and there was an extreme caution to be 100% professional in conduct, and in proper trained principles. The last thing I wanted was to buy a rug with my paint on it, worth more than my truck.
Total:Who We AreHeart Beat Inc. was started in 1984 as a small training company offering First Aid and CPR courses. The two principal owners were Elsie Edwards and Marilyn Hunter. We started part time out of our homes and grew to the point of needing a real office at Smith and Broadway. Elsie eventually sold her half of the company to Richard Bevan and after a few more years, Marilyn Hunter purchased the other half to become sole owner of Heart Beat Inc.At the time, we needed Recording Resusci Anne's for instructor programs and they kept needing adjustments. We then offered two in-services on manikin maintenance and repair and brought in a specialist Tom Richardson from Wellesley Hospital as the instructor. Our new repair service was created and many facilities grew to know us as 'the Annie Repair Depot'. The natural growth direction for us was to become distributors for CPR Manikins. That product line eventually expanded to include Emergency, Nursing and Medical Training products.Five years went by, the clientele grew, and the parcel service expanded to a small office/training room in southwest Winnipeg.

They learned a lot about soccer and mostly, they had plenty of fun. Big thanks to the coaches!Bourkevale's mini soccer season wrapped up June 26 after another another fun and exciting year. Bourkevale hosted several teams in 2014 and there was plenty of activity on the club's well-groomed soccer fields weekday evenings. Our volunteer ground crew did an exceptional job again maintaining the fields, including grass cutting, weed control and line painting. Without them, and our volunteer coaches and soccer convenor, Bourkevale would not have a soccer program. So remember parents, without your participation, there is no soccer!
