Continental Building Movers was established in May of 1988 by Murray Abra, a second generation structural mover. Murray's father, Cecil Abra of Abra Building Movers started his company in 1958 and moved hundreds of buildings. In the early sixties, Cecil was hired by Ontario Hydro, to move a whole town in Cameron Falls, Ontario to Nipigon, Ontario.
