CCGLM acts to improve the condition of people in our communities by promoting cooperation and seeking the support of community and social development by individuals and organizations. Specifically, the CCGLM aims to offer the LGBT community in Montreal a common gathering place for organizations and individuals interested in improving the experience of homosexual persons and transidentitaires (transexuals and transgender) through education, information and research.
CooPÈRE offers specialized support and resources for fathers, fostering engagement and coparenting through workshops, individual counseling, and community activities to empower paternal involvement in child-rearing and family dynamics.
Reducing extended to nuclear families and the bursting of it (single parenthood) make families, particularly young families and their children vulnerable. precariousness of jobs, isolation, domestic violence, low self-esteem, these 'plagues' seriously affect mothers in our neighborhood and weaken the parent / child relationship. Between Moms is a place where parents develop positive life projects, weave friendships, where children are stimulated in their development, a place to enrich the quality of the parent / child relationship.
