Picked up some rods for an impromptu day of fishing and Elk River was very helpful with showing us how to put everything we needed together for an awesome day. My daughters both loved their first fishing experience and we'll definitely be back againRead more

In them from your phone! This is my
Third set of hearing aids and the
Customer service is excellent. They e never been too busy to help.
Also they sold me hearing aids when
Another company said my hearing
Was good. My first pair of hearing aids gave me such joy as I heard sounds I never heard before (like
Birds singing),and I can converse.
Thank you so muchRead more
It is a provision of our Bylaws that we are to provide playing opportunities for recreational players (non- carded) prior to forming carded teams. While our Bylaws require us to give priority to the needs of the recreational player, it is also a policy of our Board to not hold back the development of our driven, skilled and competitive players and allow them the developmental opportunities of playing at the highest level possible on carded teams.Under BC Hockey rules there are only two types of teams: recreational and carded.Carded teams have strict roster rules and are eligible for Provincial Championships. There are 4 Tiers of Carded teams. Tiering is based on the number of players registered with an Association. No over-age players can play on a carded team.=Recreational (house) teams are all other teams and are not eligible for Provincials.
Island Lake and the Cedar Valley have a long and interesting history. The Cedar Valley has a special micro-climate that not only provides a lot of snow, but produces huge "coastal style" old growth trees that are unique in the Rocky Mountains. Fires have bypassed most of the valley bottom for hundreds of years, enabling monster trees to survive - some of which have reached 800 years old! In 2005, a majority shareholder purchased the land and operation. In 2004/05 - 2 more lodges (Tamarack and Cedar) were built making a total of 4. Today Island Lake is one of the most highly regarded back-country lodges in the world - well known for both winter and summer activities.
