The Scleroderma Association of BC was founded in 1984 by five patients diagnosed with scleroderma in varied forms. Today we provide support to about 450 patients and their families throughout BC. We exist to promote patient outreach, support and education; to create public awareness and understanding of scleroderma, and to encourage and support research.
The Board, Committees and Membership of the co-op are accountable to ensure that open communication, good policies, sound management, and good governance are in place. We are accountable to each other to ensure decisions are made in the best interests of the community.

Our Residential Services – at home in your neighbourhood
Woman mixing cookie batterCentaine Support Services Homes are located in local neighborhoods and are licensed under the BC Community Care and Assisted Living Act and Residential Care Regulations (when 3 or more unrelated people live in the same home) and are CARF accredited.
Centaine homes provide safe, healthy, and community-oriented environments for the people we support.
We support up to 21 adults living in the Saanich, Sooke, Sidney, View Royal and Victoria communities.
From the outside, a housing co-op looks like the other homes in the neighbourhood. It can be a new apartment building, a row of townhouses or a charming old triplex. What makes it different is not bricks and mortar, but the way its residents share the responsibilities and control of their homes.
