Our library contributes to the well-being and health of our community by providing information, supporting literacy and bringing people together. Because of our participation in the Marigold Library System, our library is a single point of access to millions of movies, books, CDs, DVDs, events and more.
The Hamlet of Blackie & District Community Association is currently building a multi-purpose sport court in Hill Park. This sport court will facilitate Tennis, Badminton, Volley Ball, Street Hockey, Roller Skating & Rollerblading and Skateboard in the Spring, Summer & Fall, and ice skating and shinny hockey in the winter. This facility is being built at a cost of $70,000 and we are currently funded at $55,000. If you feel that this facility will be a benefit to the community, we are requesting your financial support in making this project a reality. If you feel that this project is worthy of your support, please make your donation to the Hamlet of Blackie Community Association at the Blackie ATB branch.
