Family owned and serving the community since 1993....the only place that can display on their menu; NO-MSG. I always drive there for the pick-up special prices. Every time I telephone & I call out the number on the menu, the son knows what meal goes with the number !! Only disappointment is that they have later week-end times for operating hours. I always have an excellent experience when i come to the Mandarin! The staff delivers great service with a smile, everytime! The food is filling and such variety is provided. I always leave there with a happy belly and great attitude. The atmosphere is cool with the ponds and fish tanks. :) will go back anytime!

This was my First time at a real Sushi resturant , what a nice experience, they had not been open long, and the service was great, lovely atmosphere, clean quiet calm, it was a nice dining experience not just a meal, we have since returned many time and the standards are still high.

We had chef's special sushi and sashimi plate, caterpillar roll, bibimbab. Everything was fresh, nicely presented. I had thick and fresh cuts of tuna, yellow tail, unagi, and even ikura sushi in the sushi plate, it was a nice selection of nigiri sushi. Caterpillar roll was bigger than I thought, and it came with miso soup and salad. One of my Japanese friend ordered bibimbab, and I didn't know it is served in the heated stone pot, it was very unique. The pot was still hot until we finish our meal!
We spend around $60 for 3, considering it was dinner time, I guess it's reasonable price. Also we were seated in Tatami room which was very nice. It seems great for small party around 6 people.

To be honest, I don't think I have anything really negative to say about this restaurant. We visited for lunch on a Sunday, and were the first people in the restaurant. As a party of seven, we were seated at an assembled table right by the bar near the front of the restaurant.
From what I can recall, we ordered the Manchurian Chicken, Chili Chicken (dry), mixed vegetables, butter chicken, and chicken chow mein - looking back, yes that was a lot of chicken - and it was all rather delicious.

I visited this place early on a quiet Sunday afternoon in December with a friend, and a $45 voucher. Even though I had waited over a year before using it (no expiry date), the staff were very warm & gracious.
They feature an overwhelming variety of food, so I asked the server about what she suggested, based on my specific preferences. Her suggestion was perfect for my taste.
The portions were very generous (enormous amount of food for only $9 - $11). It was brought to us quickly and it was hot, fresh & delicious. Two of us had $45 to use, & since our first round was only $23 (for both) we went home with a complete second round "to-go".
This will be 1 of the VERY FEW places that I have tried for the FIRST time on a voucher, & will be HAPPY to return.

Word out on street is this is Brampton's Best Old Style Chinese Restaurant. I brought another hungary man with us so party of 4. June 9th/2011 at 18:40hrs we are here to rate the restaurant.
