I provide professional psychotherapy and counseling. I specialize in grieving, relationship issues, depression, anxiety and effects of abuse and violence as well as care-giver stress and low self esteem. I help people learn to deal with personal problems that are impacting their life negatively. My approach is client-centered, however I often include the use of CBT and DBT strategies to assist clients in making the changes they want. Changing our patterns of thinking and behaving isn't easy, even when you know that it's needed. My role is to support, guide and encourage you in this process. I also approach client issues from the perspective of building your resiliency and developing your ability to better cope with whatever challenge life will present in the future.
