Great fresh pasta, fast service and all around good dining experience. They are always busy and it's a bit loud, but well worth a short wait and some noise to enjoy their food. Read more
Take a trip to old world Italy without ever leaving Toronto. Located in the fashionable area of Yonge and Eglinton, La Vecchia delivers the authentic taste of Italy with a genuine Italian ambiance. From the stone and stucco walls covered in Italian pictures and art, La Vecchia captures the essence of Italian dining with European flair.
Charming atmosphere, beautiful chandeliers and old stone walls covered with vintage black and white photos. The food was excellent, and our server was absolutely lovely. A bit pricey, but really a wonderful experience overall. One thing to note is the two-hour limit on dining, which is best to know about in advance. If you have a group that wants to reunite, two hours is kind of short, but that's the policy. Read more

The Firkin Pubs have a commitment to great pub food, friendly service in a cozy atmosphere and the Churchmouse is no exception. Opening in June of 2004 they have established themselves as a leading spot for dinner, lunch, brunch or just a quiet drink. All your pub favorites are available on their large menu including chef's chicken curry, guinness steak and mushroom pie and the home-made burgers! They also have 12 beers on tap with their own Butler's Pale Ale emerging as a top microbrew. The Churchmouse staff will make you feel welcome and 'at home' each visit and you will soon see why their devoted patrons return day after day. They currently hold the monthly 'leather brunch' and this year were lucky enough to have sponsored the winner
Great food, great prices, great atmosphere (whether inside or on the patio), great service! What more can I say? I love the variety of the daily specials as well. The one problem is the rude, older gentleman server with the goatee-like facial hair. He's rude and sarcastic, but I try to avoid his section! Read more
