The new WDMH opened in 2009, building on more than 60 years of caring for local communities. This included the redevelopment of obstetrics, surgery, emergency and inpatient care, and state of the art technology including a CT scanner and digital mammography. In 2012, WDMH's maternity service was named the number one recommended program in Ontario. We at Betty Brite has just opened a state of the art coin laundry with new Wassomat washing machines. We have eight 20lb, two 45lb and 1 large 62lb washer that is the largest coin washer in Chatham.
