The Manitoba Home Care Program, established in September 1974, is the oldest, most comprehensive, province-wide, universal home care program in Canada. Home Care is provided to Manitobans of all ages based on assessed need and taking into account other resources available to the individual including families, community resources and other programs.The Home Care program was established to help people live at home, remaining independent for as long as possible, thereby avoiding or delaying the need for individuals to go into long term care facilities.

FPS is a psychological practice with a multidisciplinary clinical team. Our practice is oriented to working with people in a holistic manner, addressing core issues related to problematic functioning with a strength-based orientation to facilitate change, personal growth and wellness. FPS offers two clinical streams. FPS Psychological Health Services provides general psychological services attending to an array of personal issues. Areas of specialization include addictions, abuse and trauma, emotion management and relationships. Forensic Psychological Services provides assessment, treatment, consultation and training in areas related to the application of clinical services in legal systems and to individuals who have come in contact with the law and/or demonstrate problematic behaviours that have the potential to bring them in conflict with the law. Both FPS streams provide services to children, adolescents and adults and offer culturally attentive and relevant services.

Harrow Co-op Children's Centre Inc was incorporated in 1984. The centre began operating as a School Age Program in one room. Throughout the years, the centre continued to expand to include kindergarten, nursery and preschool children. Presently, we are fully licensed for 46 children.Harrow Co-op Children's Centre Inc. provides a loving environment for the development of each child's cognitive, emotional, physical and social skills. We provide an environment where children can work independently. The rooms have beauty, order, reality, simplicity and accessibility. The children have the freedom to work and move around the room which allows them to act as part of a social group.Our staff are exceptional! Each staff member brings with her a special interest in children and helps assist each child develop their unique potential, both as a person and as a member of our community. I work with them to identify their current needs and future opportunities, I design systems that will meet their needs and accommodate the anticipated future requirements; I develop code; and I install, train, and provide ongoing support.

We use current, best practice research in the field of youth development, social work, adventure therapy and experiential education to ensure that programs are safe, engaging, meaningful and challenging. We design programs that incorporate our core values, and themes from the participants' daily lives and agency defined therapeutic goals and aspirations for their groups. This includes (but is not limited to): leadership development, character building, positive peer, family, and/or staff relationships, group cohesion, and coping strategies.+ Staff +Lise Brown, BRS, MIRSWMomenta Facilitator and OwnerLise completed her Bachelor of Recreation in 2001, and her Masters of Social Work in 2007. She studied community development, wilderness therapy, program evaluation, and co-occurring disorders. Lise completed a Certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy in 2012. Lise uses these skills to facilitate groups and counsel individuals both in urban and wilderness environments with a focus on physical and emotional safety, successful participation, fun, meaningful activity and group cohesion.
