Initially I was going skip on doing the home inspection because I could not justify the cost of it. However my friends and family told me that it was important to fork out that small cost because the house would be my largest investment of my life! And boy, was I ever lucky I did it. Joe met me at my current house (the house that I recently purchased) and found several issues with the house, such as the leaky roof and loose hand rail. Although the problems he found weren’t major issues that prevented me from buying this house, it did helped me negotiate a better price for the house. In the end, I calculated the return of the home inspection (cost of the home inspection and the new negotiated price), I was able to get a return 1000% which is better than what you can get at the bank of the stock market. I required a thorough home inspection report before my 2 year Tarion warranty expired. Don came highly recommended as being thorough and compiling a very detailed home inspection report. He took his time and was very meticulous when going through my home top to bottom and explained any deficiencies to me in a manner I understood and could explain to my builder along with written details/pic's. I highly recommend Don to anyone purchasing a new build or resale home!
