Cofely Adelt has been awarded an operations and maintenance contract with Bombardier Aerospace following a competitive bid process. The contract begins on July 1st, 2013 for an initial term of 3 years. To fulfill this mandate, Cofely will have a full time technician assigned to the site who will be further supported by the Cofely mobile service team providing 24/7 emergency response.Bombardier Aerospace – Downsview is responsible for the final assembly and manufacture of structural components for the Learjet 45 aircraft, the Q Series turboprops, and the Global family of business aircraft and employs over 4000 people. The entire manufacturing facility is climate controlled and maintained within defined tolerances. In addition to the manufacturing plants, the contract includes management of a hangar and landing strip.
