Crown Heights Co-operative Homes Inc. (the Co-op) is a 118 unit townhouse complex. The Co-op is a mixed community of seniors, families and single person. When a person moves in a unit in the Co-op they become a member of the Co-op. All members of the Co-op have a right to vote and take part in governing their community. The members meet at least two times per year. Members elect a Board of Directors who work to govern the Co-op according to the needs of their members. The members also meet to approve budgets and receive the audited financial statements.
Our programs focus on housing, identification, integrated information and referral, voice messaging and long distance service, and energy assistance programs.
