We were very pleased with our home inspection that we received from 'This House is a Home'. The time and detail put into this inspection truly shows just how much the inspector cares about his job.
We followed the inspector through the process and he made sure to show and describe to us anything that he found to be not quite 'perfect'. Even though they were just little things, this helped us feel very confident about our purchase. We were able to walk into our new house knowing which areas we need to keep an eye on. This has been a huge relief to my husband and I being that we don't really have time to constantly be repairing things.
In total, the inspection lasted about 2 hours. As I mentioned before, the inspector was extremely detailed and he even made sure to take pictures of anything that might be of concern. The pictures were included in our written report. This is yet another detail that helped lend some peace of mind to our purchasing process.
The written report that we were given after the inspection covers every aspect of the house and is easy to read and understand. This report has come in handy several times already when we were applying for our standard house insurance. Without the inspection write up from 'This House is a Home', we would not have known how to answer the insurance company questions with regards to our new house.
The entire house inspection process has been a pleasant one and I would definitely accredit that to the inspector at 'This House is a Home'. I truly believe that the inspector views every house as a home for someone and that because of this, plenty of time, care and detail is put into each inspection. We are completely thrilled with our new house and we are very thankful to 'This House is a Home' for the thorough inspection of it before we bought it.
