Louis Payeur, the founder of Motrec, built the first vehicle in his garage. That was in 1988. This robust carrier was delivered to a heavy equipment manufacturer where it performed so well that word got around. It didn't stop there. Just two years after our first delivery, the North American auto manufacturers came knocking.
