Harris and Wick Goldsmiths Ltd. was founded on Oct. 15th 1983 by Dan Harris and Brian Wick. Both are goldsmiths and designers of fine jewellery. They also include repairs and appraisals in their services and all work is done in the shop, saving customer time and money. This type of goldsmithing is normally found in larger cities but as both owners prefer the quiet lifestyle of the north, Prince Rupert is their first choice for this unique store. They have a very different style than regular retail jewellery stores and about 70% of the work they do is by custom orders. Rather than importing items to the store from outside sources, they prefer to utilize local artisans to fill the gallery space in the store. Everything from wood work and native arts to metal art and argillite are part of this unique shop. Drop in to see something you might not expect in a small fishing town.
