Passionné par les médecines alternatives, c’est tout naturellement qu’il se tourne vers la nutrition holistique. Il y découvre une nouvelle raison d’être. Curieux d’en apprendre toujours davantage, il poursuit ses études auprès du renommé «Edison Institute of Nutrition», fondé par David W. Rowland en 1996. Il y décroche un premier certificat en Avril 2013, puis son diplôme de pratique en Mars 2015. Laurent a également obtenu en Octobre 2013 sa certification et son titre de Coach du programme de gestion de poids et régulation métabolique Metabolic Balance®. Il est le conseiller principal de ce programme au Québec, et coordonne régulièrement des ateliers de formations.
