The Centre on Aging at the University of Manitoba is conducting the Age-Friendly Communities Research Alliance . This project supports seniors in leading active, socially engaged, independent lives that contribute to healthy aging

Tickets are $95 each and may be purchased individually or for groups of ten (10).
Chesed Shel Emes was established in 1930 as a non-profit organization with a mandate to prepare members of the Jewish community for burial according to Orthodox tradition.Each person is treated with the same consideration and respect. No one is refused service due to financial hardship.Chesed Shel Emes is an independent, community based organization. Our Board of Directors is comprised of representatives from each of Winnipeg's synagogues and cemeteries, and interested members from the community at large.Men and women are carefully chosen and trained as volunteer members of the Chevra Kadisha (Holy Society). Their purpose is to dutifully and lovingly prepare the dead for burial, an act of true loving kindness.
FCNW Fall Indoor RegistrationINDOOR REGISTRATION 2014/15Indoor Registration will open on August 29th and close on September 10th. The fee for this season is $435.00.This year we will be offering ONLY on-line registration via Credit Card payment. If you do not have a Credit Card you may purchase a pre-paid credit card at your Financial Institution, WalMart, Safeway, and several other grocery or retail locations. The online registration can be accessed on August 29th by clicking the red button at the top right corner on the FCNW website. Then select the REGISTRATION on the left side of the screen. KidSport Applicants must apply in person at the FCNW office prior to SEPTEMBER 5THPLEASE UPDATE YOUR PROFILE NOW! - we will be using all information in your profile to contact you and compile the rosters so it is CRITICAL that this information be accurate.
