Dwelling Place is a church filled with ordinary everyday people who are learning about the love and faithfulness of God. This is a congregation who is in the process of learning what it means to live in freedom from sin and bondage as we live our lives through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We are committed as a congregation to living for the Kingdom of God and are thus dedicated to prayer; worship; healing and experiencing the presence of God as we gather together for worship each week.
It doesn’t matter what your religious or cultural background is, we welcome you to come and visit with us! It is our desire to show each person who comes God's unconditional love through our lives together.
Formed in 1952, CLAC is one of Canada’s fastest-growing unions. Operating through 15 member centres, it is the country’s largest national, independent, multi-sector union representing over 60,000 workers in almost every sector. Based on values of respect, dignity, and fairness, CLAC is committed to building better workplaces, better communities, and better lives. We are a union that believes there’s more to work than just work. Work helps us feel a sense of achievement, to feel good about a job well done. We work hard to improve your workplace so that you can enjoy your life both at work and outside of work. Our approach is constructive, not confrontational. Our professional representatives and trained stewards are there to answer your questions, help with any problems that arise at work, and negotiate contracts that make sure you are fairly compensated. Welcome to a different kind of union, one committed to helping you get the most out of every day. Welcome to CLAC.

The Government claims Canadas economy is the best in the World, but that isnt supported by the hard evidence. Austerity has hurt the underlying problem, not helped. To solve the problem, we need a different approach; all stakeholders, Government, Business, Labour, Universities, Colleges, & communities, all need to elevate good paying job creation to the top of the list of policy priorities. We need to take pro-active measures to make it happen.Jim Stanford, Economist & Author will be making a presentation on Jobs followed by a Q& A session.Admission is FREE. Currently United Steel Workers and several police associations have Group Insurance with Youngs insurance. If you are renewing your insurance for your or Automobiles and would like a quote call the Youngs insurance or click on the following link.
