And that goes whether you're at the surrounding Italian style counter, or your own personal table. Everything you order here is made fresh, using ingredients from our market. The open kitchen atmosphere (with our big Italian stoves front and centre) is loud and vibrant.When you dine at Mercato, interaction with our chefs and other customers is as common as the bread and oil you'll find at your table. Mercato West does have both the Restaurant and the Pizzevino available for two different dining experiences. The Pizzevino is open for walk-ins only and does not take reservations. The Restaurant is open daily at 5:30pm and reservations are recommended.

Pizza 99 opened in the summer of 1995 as a family business to serve consumers in the city of Edmonton. Over the years, we have differentiated ourselves by striving to achieve customer satisfaction. Our restaurant distinguishes itself from others by making fresh dough on a daily basis and using finest ingredients such as rennet free cheese. We also allow our consumers to customize how spicy they would like their pizza to be; the various levels include light-hot, medium-hot, hot or extra hot. Our restaurant was also the first to introduce “Indian style” pizza, which includes adding ginger and cilantro as toppings for a unique and ethnic taste to the Italian dish.
