Pho East used to be the well known "Pho House" in Riverdale. It's just been passed to another new owner who made an excellent change. I really like the new & fresh vibe and the updated meals. If you don't want a big bowl of Pho, try the light menu and have a bunch of delicious appetizers!

I found the food here to be quite good. Although it looks quite run down. The noodles were fresh (did not stick to each other). You can order the raw beef to be separated to a small dish for you to place by yourself, which I found nice of them to allow you to do. This is because it allows you to place some taste in to it (lemon and other sauces) and separate the beef before placing it in.
I use to visit this place late at night. If you are in the area and looking for a inexpensive meal, then this is the place!

Excellent, fresh, homemade food. Friendly waitstaff.
The hot and sour soup is to DIE for! If you like it spicy, they will actually DO it... unlike others. A meal in itself.

Pho Ying was celebrating its grand opening. I stopped in for a take out lunch. All staff were very helpful and answered my questions. The deep fried squid, tender, delicious. The Pho Beef Noodle Soup was teeming with add ins. The most important part is the broth. It was so tasty. I will return.
