I ride to see what's down an unknown street, to hear the cacophony of frogs in March, and to smell the food being prepared in different neighborhoods, all while picking up some vegetables for dinner. When the season is right, I'll stop to pick berries or mushrooms. I slow down to browse random yard sales. I ride faster just because it's fun.
