I had the Stew Oxtail wth Rice and Peas for the first time a few weeks ago and I must say...it was the best Oxtail I ever had. Hats off to the chef!
I went a week later and tried the stew chicken and it was also yummy. Ive tried other things there like their jerk chicken, goat wraps etc..and its all good!

Katsura is tucked away in a separate, but connected, building right beside the main building of the Prince Hotel.
The food here is very good but only slightly better than the cheaper places in the area. The teppanyaki tables are good. The sushi is fresh. The prices are high and the portions are not particularly large.
So why would someone choose this place over its cheaper competitors? It's the decor and the service that makes this place stand out. From the moment you step in out of the snow, you are surrounded by tasteful Japanese decor. In the main dining area, the place is elegant, simple and to the point. I hosted my birthday party this past April at Casa Manila (group of 30!) I was esctastic to discover that they hosted a Sunday brunch buffet with their top menu selections.
Mila was my contact and she was AMAZING.
Food was absolutely delicious! I had several guests with a diverse array of dietary restrictions (including vegetarian and no pork). Every single guest complimented the selection and quality of food. We all left with fully satisfied bellies.

Every time I go to downtown Toronto, I often stop by this place for their BBQ pork ramen. They serve many other different kinds of ramen, and I found them to be delicious. The service is very quick and the restaurant interior is unique and interesting. Great place!
