Lees Service Centre was first established in November, 1981. It was started as a one man operation doing repairs to all makes of equipment. In 1984, we saw the need in the area for a short line equipment dealer and started to take on some equipment lines (examples: Belarus, CCIL, Vicon, Westfield, Leon, Ezee-on).By 1989 we out grew our building and lot so a new shop was constructed on the west end of town. We also added Hesston and New Idea equipment to our lines. We have now added Highline Mfg in July 1998 and the Universal Tractor line in March of 1999. Our staff has also increased to better serve our growing customer base (4 mechanics, 1 partsman, 1 salesman and 1 general manager). We keep a good supply of agricultural parts including hyd. hose and fittings, filters, bearings cutting parts. We have also added Westfield Parts for a better parts supply for all makes of equipment. We have a commitment to keeping knowledgeable, well trained personnel and feel we are able to meet the expectations of our customers in sales, parts and service

We changed our program up a little, away from the MGA feed additive program to the CIDR implant program for estrus suppression, with hopes of increased conception rates. Even though the CIDR program is about 10x the cost of MGA, the extra control and the elimination of some intake variance should mean that we have more pregnancies on the initial breeding round. We stuck to the same high-profile bulls as last year. The black heifers were bred to SAV Final Answer and the red heifers were bred to Feddes Big Sky. So we are excited to see how the conception rates to AI turn out
