Kevin grew up in Ontario and attended Wilfrid Laurier University graduating with an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1985. Kevin worked in various industry and human resources positions before attending the University of British Columbia in 1989 to study law. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in 1992 and was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 1993.

After her call to the Bar in 2000, Angela stayed on as an Associate at Vanderburgh & Company, and found herself becoming more involved with community organizations and events in Williams Lake. Angela became a Partner with Vanderburgh & Company in 2006. She is involved with the Boys & Girls Club of Williams Lake, is a long-time volunteer of the Williams Lake Access Pro Bono Law Clinic, President of the South Cariboo Bar Association, and a happy member of the Rotary Club of Williams Lake.
