Welcome to Two Ten RecoveryTWO TEN is a structured sober environment in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our mission is to provide a clean and sober environment for men and women in recovery from drug and/or alcohol addiction. The mandate of the project is to help individuals who have a desire to stay sober and become productive members of society. The project values the participant's involvement in the recovery fellowships and believes it to be essential and therefore enhance the recovery process of the residents. Residents are mandated to attend 12-step meetings, work with a 12-step sponsor and do the 12 steps. These actions are essential to facilitate growth and prepare residents to achieve good emotional sobriety.

The purpose was to discuss how our community might use the $500,000 in funding being made available, over the next 5 years, by the developer of the Fort Rouge Yards, for recreation and infrastructure improvements.The next step is for Councillor Gerbasi to take the suggestions to City staff for some analysis of potential cost and feasibility. Ultimately, the public service will bring recommendations forward to City Council for approval.Here is the Facilitator's report from the Workshop.The event was positive and productive.

It features two outdoor skating rinks, two soccer fields, and a hall that comfortably holds 200 people and a recreation room downstairs. Programs include hockey, baseball, soccer, youth drop-ins, movie nights, church groups and more.Bord-Aire is wheelchair accessible and available for rent any day of the week.

A renovation project completed in 1996 resulted in an expanded and improved environment for residents totaling 121 beds. Donwood Manor Elderly Persons Housing, a 150 unit complex was constructed in 1974 and adjoined Donwood Manor Personal Care Home. In 1982, Donwood South, a 104 apartment complex was built on Henderson Highway with amenities to provide comfortable accommodations for independent seniors. Donwood West, a 60 unit life lease complex, was built in 1988. Donwood West is a non-profit corporation owned and operated by Donwood West Inc. In 1997 the construction of the 48 unit, 55+ Life Lease complex was completed. Valhalla Cove is a 55+ Life Lease Complex. Valhalla Cove is a non-profit corporation that is sponsored by Donwood Management Inc.About UsDonwood is a faith-based organization supported by eight Winnipeg-based Mennonite Brethren Churches.
