Great school with a great artistic director. On 25th November, we had a wonderful evening watching an amazing performance by her students. A truly great feat by the artistic director to come up with this concert, especially in such a short time. My granddaughter has been with the school for the past three years and has learnt so much from Ms Zhang.

The first positive experience we had with Dance Surge was the great communication. They didn’t hide behind a voicemail system, but usually had a live person answering the phone. Replies to both emails and voice messages we left were prompt as well. When we went in to take a look at the studio we saw that dance instructors were really teachers who weren’t just going through the motions. The instructors care about the children and want them to learn the right technique and learn/maintain a love for dancing. One of the attractions for us was that Dance Surge has both competitive and recreational classes. We were pleasantly surprised to see that both levels of classes are taught by same teachers so the quality of instruction is amazing. I have 3 kids dancing there (3,5 & 9yrs old). They love it to the extent that they can’t wait to get to class and run freely into the studio. I am amazed how much they learned in the first year as compared to previous years. In addition, and perhaps even more important is that fact that they are no longer complaining of boredom and have regained their interest in dancing.

This T.V. show most likely used the owner and founder, Donita Nahon, as the platform for the show. If you have the will, determination and passion for ballet dancing, Donita Ballet School is your only option. Donita is tireless in her efforts to create elegance; use what you have to offer; and further your ballet dancing. As a student from the age of 4, and now almost 40, Donita has shaped my life. Still dancing and I know I can.

Our ballet curriculum follows the high standards set out by the Royal Academy of Dance. Students may also learn other types of dance, such as National Dance, Chinese Dance, Hip Hop, Jazz etc. Our primary goal is to build elegant, confidence, poise and a love of dance while encouraging teamwork, fun and possibly last friendships. Chinese Dance in Markham. Dancing Star Dance School was founded in October 2013. For over 30 years now she has maintained a strong dance organization training her dancers with impeccable technique. Her personalized corrections and hours of dedication are what make the school stand out among competing dance studios. For years Donita Ballet School won countless gold medals during competitions proving the unique quality of the school. Under Donita's direction, her school and her dancers have always had a strong undying love for the art of classical ballet. Donita has also been an adjudicator in various competitions in Canada and a choreographer for year end recitals of several dance schools.
