DanceTastic Studio (D.T.S) opened its doors in 2002.. At D.T.S. we take pride in our high quality dance education taught in a positive learning environment. Our goal is to provide each student with mental, and physical challenges through movement. We will stimulate memory and retention while providing discipline, and excitement for the individual dancer. D.T.S. provides an exciting after school program (September to May) for children and/or adults who want to learn, or improve their dance abilities. Did you know that the Government of Canada allows parents to claim the total cost of dance lesson fees ($500.00/child under 16 years old) as a tax credit.
KICKS Dance Studio is celebrating 30 years in Markham! Studio Owners and Directors, Jo-Ann Bryson-Ko and Courtney Drake are the mother daughter team behind the studio's success! KICKS is honoured to have won the Top Choice Award for the Best Dance School in Markham 2012! They pride themselves in offering high quality dance classes to children ages 2 and up in a friendly, welcoming environment. Students from KICKS participate in many fundraising charity events. The competitive dance team wins numerous awards including the Gold Medal for Canada at the World Championships in Germany! The annual recital is held at the Markham Theatre. A.B. Dance offers programs in recreational, competitive & part time competitive classes to boys & girls 2+. All dancers perform in the annual spectacular recital at the Markham Theatre. A.B. Dance has an outstanding faculty for both recreational & competitive dancers. Exciting news!!! We are excited to be moving to the NEW A.B. Dance location across the street at 162 Bullock Dr. next season. This new state of the art facility which will ensure small class sizes and equal attention to all recreational and competitive students, is currently being built and will be enjoyed by both the parents & dancers.
Samantha Brooks - B.F.A. owner/Artistic Director is a professional teacher with an extensive dance background. She has been teaching dance in the GTA for 10 years. Sam is thrilled to be opening her own studio to share her passion and knowledge of dance with her students. She was teaching in York Region and has won numerous awards for her choreography and costumes at various competitions.
Our studio is a bright, newly renovated 1300 square foot space with an inviting parent lounge/viewing area.
There are two large wheelchair accessible men’s and women’s washrooms located directly outside of the entrance to the studio. As well as a single washroom located within the studio for the students.
There is free wifi, and ample parking available.
Our Space is available for rental opportunities, please contact the office for availability.
