Pulp Kitchen has been operating a juice bar in the east end since 2001 - but recently, the Queen Street East fixture has shifted to a new location, on the other side of Broadview Avenue, with a 22 seat sit-down restaurant. New owner Alexandro Francisco de Oliveira is making his mark with the new site after he purchased the juice bar a year ago. He had come to Canada from Brazil in 2012, initially to study English, but soon decided to open a business. After saving enough to do so with work as a personal trainer, he spoke with the owners of Pulp Kitchen and took the opportunity to check out the business by working for a time as an assistant manager. I’ve been to Dog and Bear many times. It’s a traditional British style pub. It’s laid back and chill, not a place for an event but definitely a place to hang out with the friends and grab some pints. Football(soccer) lovers as owners the screens always have good matches on during the season. Natasha James is a Certified Wedding Coordinator/Consultant, who is a graduate of The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada. She first decided that she wanted to become a wedding coordinator in 2009 when she was planning her own wedding. While planning, family and friends were coming to her with so many ideas on themes, etc., taking everything in she thought none of these things reflected the two of them. They were fillers, what she wanted was their day to be about them. Natasha wanted to help take some of the stresses of planning a wedding from couples and have their wedding day reflect them and who they are as a couple without having to spend an obscene amount of money, she believes that is what your wedding day should be about. She knows who the vendors are that are out there and has the eye and flair to help make your wedding about you the couple, so you can have the wedding of your dreams and have your guests talking for months to come.
