THE DYE HOUSEThe Dye House was established in 1990 with a vision to provide the garment industry access to high quality garment dyeing services.Our goal was to offer an unlimited choice of colors and finishes in a timely and cost effective manner. By staying true to our dream, we have become the largest custom garment dyeing facility in Western Canada.We occupy a 14,000 sq. ft. plant located right smack in the middle of Canad,a close to the Winnipeg International Airport. See map below.We have a skilled and experienced work force, many of whom have been with us since conception. Owners are always on premises and involved in all aspects of the business from sales and production to quality control and product development. Our 'hands-on' approach allows us to react quickly to our customers' needs and to maintain a high quality product that we - and our customers - can be proud of.We currently operate a variety of dye machines ranging in size from 100# to 800# each. Our current weekly capacity is approximately 50,000#, but could be increased up to 100,000# a week at this location

Franck had left behind his native France a few years before to work in London at the renowned two-Michelin starred restaurant, Le Gavroche. After three years working his way up through the ranks, he was sent to The Point, a Relais & Chateau property for whom Le Gavroche consulted. When I sent my resume to The Point to apply for the Pastry Chef position, unbeknownst to us, our partnership began.

However, the term is also commonly used when one South American country refers tongue & cheek to another, as in a recent interview with the Brazilian national soccer team where they referred to their Argentinean rivals as 'Hermanos'.At Hermanos Restaurant and Wine Bar, we're about showcasing some of the food, imagery, and styles found in South American dining, with our main courses inspired by the many Parillada's or Steakhouses in Argentina & Uruguay. Simple cakes, fun cakes, cakes that look like dogs, wedding cakes, and everything in between. All of our cakes are custom, which means we don't have any in the shop to pick up on a whim, they all need to be ordered ahead of time. We usually book about 2-3 weeks ahead, but please call to see if we can squeeze you in.Each cake is made up of two layers of cake with butter cream icing (layered in between and then crumb coated). We finish our cakes off with fondant icing, and as they are our specialty, we don't charge any extra for using that kind of icing. Fondant is a type of icing used to finish off cakes (there is still butter cream inside the cakes) and it is similar in taste and texture to marsh mellows.
