Total:Who We AreHeart Beat Inc. was started in 1984 as a small training company offering First Aid and CPR courses. The two principal owners were Elsie Edwards and Marilyn Hunter. We started part time out of our homes and grew to the point of needing a real office at Smith and Broadway. Elsie eventually sold her half of the company to Richard Bevan and after a few more years, Marilyn Hunter purchased the other half to become sole owner of Heart Beat Inc.At the time, we needed Recording Resusci Anne's for instructor programs and they kept needing adjustments. We then offered two in-services on manikin maintenance and repair and brought in a specialist Tom Richardson from Wellesley Hospital as the instructor. Our new repair service was created and many facilities grew to know us as 'the Annie Repair Depot'. The natural growth direction for us was to become distributors for CPR Manikins. That product line eventually expanded to include Emergency, Nursing and Medical Training products.Five years went by, the clientele grew, and the parcel service expanded to a small office/training room in southwest Winnipeg.

Since 1988,we've lived, ate and breathed truck equipment.From humble beginnings to our new 17,000 square foot building addition in Surrey, BC, we are proud to be Western Canada's choice for heavy-duty truck equipment. As a family,we've gotten a lot bigger in a short period of time. From cranes, plows and hooklifts,we've managed to expand our expertise even further in establishing ourselves as a 'one-stop-shop' for any client need.Our expansion started in 2005, when we decided to look beyond truck equipment and towards the rail industry. This spawned our sister-company, Falcon Shuttle Rail Inc (FSR).Operating out of our home-base, FSR quickly expanded its reach nationally with representatives in Eastern Canada - quickly establishing itself as an industry innovator and leader in Canada.Two years later marked our very own expansion period; this was kicked-off by our first expansion to Prince George - an industrial hub in Northern BC. It is here that we do a lot of servicing for some of our larger northern-based clients, and it has also allowed us to extend our presence throughout our home province.While all this was going on, we managed to add a 17,000 square foot addition to our head office in Surrey.

House of the Risen Son Ministry started as more of a para church style ministry in 1993. It was started to disciple the community that was being reached by Bondslave Motorcycle Club, ( www.bondslavemc.com )Over the years it has grown and operated in different methods to accomplish this. Many of those who attend are bikers or at least of that culture but we continue to attract many who are not. Many are those who seek Jesus in a manner that is relevant to where they are at and do not want to feel that they are imposed upon. They want Jesus who is 'real' from people who are 'real'.The worship services to accommodate this biker type sub culture are held every Sunday at 7 pm in Zion Apostolic Church located at 305 Machray Ave. Winnipeg. Since 1999 Zion has rented space to us for many of the things we do.Every Sunday we have visitors. Every Sunday through the riding season the parking lot looks like a bike show. And every Sunday, you are welcome to join us. But be prepared to not find church as you expected it.
