I believe children should be in an environment where they are loved, nurtured and their needs are met. Since I was 14 years old I took care of families and neighbors' children. As an Early childhood Educator (ECE-George Brown College and currently in University of Ontario taking my BA Education) I believe children who enter a childcare facility at an early stage will have a bright promising future. Early Childcare provides a positive impact on a child's life; a healthy, intellectual, socially and emotionally stimulating environment leading towards a higher future education and becoming a good citizen in our society. I have two children of my own and I understand first hand, that a proper childcare environment has a great impact on a child's development.

Kids Korner Learning Center recognizes the important correlation between learning and play. We encourage self esteem and a positive sense of self through fun activities that increase confidence while enticing a child to learn.Our Play-Focused Learning Curriculum uses praise to build on each individual child's current skill level, recognizing that every child grows and develops at their own pace, often unrelated to their age.

All children are special and each has his/her own personality, strengths and weaknesses and rates and ways of learning.   As educators, it is our responsibility to tap into how a particular child learns, and develop strategies to help the child master all basic skills.  It is our responsibility to capitalize on a child's strengths and give them the required tools to deal with their weaknesses. Emotional, physical, cognitive and social growth are all essential aspects of a child's development and thus our centre's programs are geared to promote these facets of a child's development.
