Our Low Noise, Zero Emission Gardening EquipmentOur goals are to reduce air and noise pollution while providing an efficient quality gardening service. We use a combination of manual and zero emission electric lawn care equipment, including lithium battery powered Mean Green Products, 33 inch deck, walk behind mowers for larger properties. We have the capacity to mow many acres a day. We use commercial level, lithium battery, line trimmers and sheers made by Stihl. For smaller lawns, we use manual push mowers. Using these tools makes for a much more pleasant experience for our clients and their neighbours.The StaffMy name is Sheldon Ridout and I am the owner of The Silent Gardener Ltd. I am a Certified Horticulture Technician from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, I have a Certification in Landscape Maintenance through the BCLNA and a ISA Certified Arborist. I have been in the Horticulture industry for over 17 years and am passionate aboutorganic and sustainable gardening practices.

Dr. Jonn Matsen became interested in natural healing after improving his own health in his 20s. He became a Chartered Herbalist in 1977. Dr. Matsen completed his premedical university studies in British Columbia (BC), Canada, before attending Naturopathic medical school in the US. In 1983, he graduated from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA, and began his practice at the Northshore Naturopathic Clinic in North Vancouver, BC .
