The Rob-Lyn story begins with Barry Adams. Barry first began working in the financial industry in 1966, as an insurance representative sponsored by Great-West Life. In 1976, Barry founded Rob-Lyn Financial (named after his two children) on the principle of protecting and doing what is right for clients. At the time, Rob-Lyn was just a two-person team made up of Barry Adams and Joanne Sands, and focused largely on insurance.
Our people have come home... Ka Ni Kanichihk (pronounced Ga Ni Ganichick) means 'those who lead' in the Ininew (Cree). Led by visionary community leaders and Elders who understood the significance of culturally-based and Aboriginal-led services and leadership to social transformation, both on an individual and collective basis and who courageously and tenaciously set about the tasks of bringing their vision to action. Ka Ni Kanichihk provides a culturally safe environment where the greatness and gifts of all peoples are honoured and where our cultural practices and values are practiced and Aboriginal people can 'just be who we naturally are.' LinksDaily photos from the most beautiful, most repulsive city in the world through the photography of Bryan Scott.Welcome to the new Winnipeg Love Hate, now with more love and more hate. I first launched this website back in March 2008, when it was born out of a passion for three things: photography, architecture, and most importantly, Winnipeg. The feedback on the site has been overwhelmingly positive over the years, but still, I felt it was time for a bit of a freshening up. I hope you like the new look.I also hope that the photos presented here depict a Winnipeg that often goes unseen and unnoticed; a multi-layered, architecturally rich city that is more than just the snow and mosquitoes for which it is (sadly) most well-known.Prints are available through the print-on-demand website imagekind.com. Click Purchase Prints for more information. If you don't see the prints you're interested in, let me know and I will make them available as soon as possible. Prints are available in many different paper stocks.
