The library fund of more than 15,000 publications in Russian for a wide range of readers. The library fund is replenished on a monthly basis, of new revenue - Russian news publishing companies, bestsellers and book-winners of international awards, the classics and the works of contemporary authors whose books - the gifts of the authors and publication of Russian immigrants in Canada and other countries
The symposium is very inclusive. Many of the attendees will be engineering and science graduate students, but it's open across campus and appeals to a number of different fields. The more people who join from different academic and professional backgrounds the better, from physicists to materials scientists to political and environmental science students interested in energy policy.
The Library has over 66,000 active users with on average 20,000 people per week coming to the libraries, using services, resources and programs. It serves the population of approximately 165,000 Richmond Hill residents through its four branches: Central Library, Oak Ridges Moraine Library, Richmond Green Library and Richvale Library.The Library's mission is to provide a progressive user-oriented library service which responds to and anticipates the educational, leisure and other information needs within the community.
The Friends of the Osborne Collection has over 500 members, primarily located in Canada but extending worldwide. Our group includes book lovers, storytellers, teachers, professors, collectors, students...people who care about early children's books, and want to help build, conserve and promote use of one of the foremost English-language children's book collections. we have supported the Osborne Collection of Early Children's Books by raising funds for special projects, includingacquisitions, beyond Toronto Public Library's regular budget, cataloguing and conservation projects, outreach through sponsored events
