My journey into cake decorating started with my oldest daughter's first birthday cake. I wanted to create something really special to mark her first year so I made a "healthy" carrot cake in the shape of a lady bug. I don't think my daughter even had a bite of it and it was pretty goofy looking but it sure gave me a craving to create more cakes. Each year I would look forward to creating something special for my kid's birthdays. And with each year I would give myself a new challenge and create a cake even better than the last.
Not too long ago I started filling orders and creating fun and amazing cakes for other people. I have found it to be such a thrill to be able to marry my passion for baking with my fine art skills. While I was traditionally trained in printmaking/studio arts at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, my skills as a baker were acquired while working eight years at Terra Breads in Vancouver.

Our Youth Program is Suitable for ages 7 and up. Participants are allowed to climb with and belay each other, under close supervision. For inexperienced rock climbers will enjoy our extensive bouldering and routes ranging from 5.7 to 5.13. Take our Advanced Belay Course to get into lead climbing, or a Technique Class to improve your climbing skills. Most of our walls are lead equipped with qickdraws and dynamic ropes.
