Fishing in this river is reserved to guests with sanctioned native guides and band members. We also offer a full-service bait and tackle shop with double launch ramps into the St. Mary's River. Our region offers some of the best Pink and Chinook Salmon fishing on the planet! At the mouth of the Garden River, five different species of Salmon stage before their run. This staging can last from mid-July to mid-October. Steelhead and Rainbow Trout run from mid-April to early June. Ben's Bait & Tackle has the only double boat launch from Sault Ste Marie to St Joseph Island. We have 12 docks available and 24 foot fully equipped trailers on-site. We also have a cabin rental on Echo Lake available with boat included.
