This was one of the first restaurants my husband took me to when we met and we have been going back ever since. We drive in from the West Island because they know how to do it right! My favorites for starters are the zucchini frits, the calamari, all their salads and they make amazing soups. For mains I like the Shrimp dishes (I've tried them all) and the risotto pescatore. My husband loves their pasta with meat sauce and the fettuccini di mare. But all their dishes are good. Its BYOW and there is an SAQ on the corner of St. Dennis and Deluth. Great food, great ambiance, great service and the owner is always there taking care of his customers.

This place came up when I asked some friends about a good burger joint in Kingston. I gave it a shot and I have to agree the food is great. The burgers are large portion, and the sweet potato fries where great along with the chipotle mayo. The two meals and an appetizer ran up a pretty healthy bill, but it was worth it.
Its a comfortable place to eat with medium to high level food in a relaxed atmosphere.

When I return to my hometown of Ottawa I head immediately to Caffé Mio! There are few restaurants in Ottawa that understand this disease fully but Robert has FANTASTIC gluten-free pasta available and staff are fully aware of the do's and don'ts for us.
Last evening I had a meal of Caprese Salad - dressing perfect, not cloying; Pasta Beata (chicken, artichoke, peppers and a white wine dijon cream sauce - DIVINE!) followed by fig and port tartufo. Atmosphere is wonderful and the staff super-friendly. This is a MUST GO!

Nous l'avons découvert par hazard en passant par Joliette depuis nous revenons tous les ans,c'est devenu pour nous un rendez-vous chaque fois que nous en avons l'occasion. Have eaten here several times, and do not understand the negative comments. The food is very good, the service friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. The menu has a lot of choices, and thus far, I have not had a meal there that I can criticize.
