The Nanaimo Museum is a dynamic community facility offering diverse interpretive programming encouraging visitors to “Make a Discovery” while exploring the history and heritage of our area. Sue Wood has been active in music for over 30 years as a piano teacher and an accompanist. She enjoys working with students and musicians of all ages and abilities. She is involved in the local music community serving on the executives of the Mid-Island Chapter of the BCRMTA and the Upper Island Music Festival. She founded Dreamtree Studios, originally an art gallery and music studio on Main Street in Vancouver, in 1994. As a member of the piano faculty at the Richmond Arts Centre, she maintains a connection with the lower mainland. In 2016, she completed the addition of a music studio to her home in the Brechin Hill neighbourhood of Central Nanaimo. She welcomes new and transfer students, as well as, music collaborators to Dreamtree Studios Nanaimo.
