This is a great pub. We ate regulars there at Mickeys now. The staff greet you when you come in. The food has always beenf good. And the prices are great. The photos that are on here are super old.

I live nearby, and visit several times a year. Good food, nicely varied menu, good selection of draft (including Red Truck IPA, my fave!). Extremely friendly staff, and solid live music on some weekends. My only minor concern is that they don't always have local sports teams on their TVs, had to ask for a Lions game to be put on screen midway through 1st quarter. All in all a great neighbourhood pub.

We are a long-time North Shore family. We began as owners and operators of the legendary Lynwood Inn Hotel and Tavern in North Vancouver for more than 80 years before closing its doors in 2012. At that time, we carried on our families’ legacy and love of the hospitality industry and opened Toby’s Pub and Toby’s Liquor Store. Staying true to our roots was important to us so we opened the Liquor Store in approximately the same location as the old Lynwood Hotel. Following suit with our next venture, Toby’s Pub, now Toby’s Social Pub, we developed it close by, a few blocks west and across the street on Main Street.
The John B has a comfortable setting both inside and out and an atmosphere that you would expect from a friendly neighbourhood pub. With an equal focus on both selection and quality, you will be pleasantly surprised by the many menu items unlike any other pub. If you don't have the time or room to indulge in an item from our extensive mouth-watering food menu, you may want to consider treating yourself to a simple or sophisticated beverage.
