Dr Mimmo Gagliardi was born and raised in Toronto and has lived in the Woodbridge community since 1978. He graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 1984. He has completed two additional courses in the treatment and management of ocular disease in affiliation with Northeastern State University in Oklahoma and Southern California College of Optometry. Avninder completed his course from Georgian College, Barrie in 1997 with Honours. Avninder joined Lens crafters as a technician in the lab in 1996. He was promoted within a short period of time to an Optician due to his qualification, dedication and knowledge. He continued to work with Lens crafters for the next three years, learning and honouring his skills. After gaining valuable experience, Avninder opened his first store in Rexdale in 1998.
