Fred from George’s Appliance Repair of Cobden has proven customer service is not dead! I had a morning appointment to have my dryer looked at, wait and waited no show. I was getting a liitle heated, call his shop at 3 50 pm Fred picked up. After a short discussion Fred realized he had made a mistake with the appointment, he drove to Petawawa from Cobden and had my dryer up and running before 5 pm!! Give me a little break on the cost of the repair, Fred Thanks a bunch!!

Unfortunately, the 'Rink' as it's known to most now, burned in a fire on March 15, 2005. This was a great loss for our entire community and surrounding area. When asked it they wanted to rebuild or simply cease operations, the community gathered and gave a unanimous thumb's up to rebuild. And that's whatwe've done!
