Beryl suggested, 'Let's put Port Coquitlam on the map and start our own festival'.

The building offers a 339 seat theatre, a licensed lounge, banquet hall, as well as meeting rooms. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff would be pleased to provide rental rates and details about these various rooms. The Theatre seats 339 people including three wheelchair spaces. The Banquet Hall is the Art Centre's most versatile room. The Banquet Hall is suitable for receptions, parties, meetings, theatre and music concerts. The room can accomodate up to 180 people. Folding chairs and tables are available to fulfill rentor's needs.LoungeThe Lounge is a fully licensed room that can accommodate groups of up to 90 for parties or meetings. The room has bare set up for a Wedding style tables that will accommodate 70 people.

I love art. I love painting and creating. I always have and I always will. One of the most exciting things for me is to see that excitement, that fire come to life in others. I have been fortunate, Art has always been apart of my life. Creating started when I was wee, in my folks backyard armed with finger paints and sun dyes....(what was my Mom thinking!) I jest...She was igniting the passion of an artist.I was able to further my artist passion when I attended Emily Carr University. There, I was able to expand my knowledge of colour under the tutelage of Tom Hudson and his amazing and intense theory colour classes, begin to discover the possibilities of Mixed Media Art and fuel my love of book arts under the guidance of Nick Bantock. I was so fortunate.
