Servicing the business sector of downtown Calgary, West Restaurant is a great place to have lunch with colleagues or clients. The atmosphere is very modern and populated with business clientele, the service is quick, the pricing is reasonable, and the food is delicious.
The only challenge I had was that I didn't make a reservation for lunch, and at 11:30 it was very busy and our table of 3 just about did not get in. There isn't any signage in ScotiaBank (as of posting May 21, 2010) as to where to go, at least I couldn't see it, so you have to make your way to the 2nd floor to enter the restaurant.
Overall, I would visit West restaurant again.

This pub is absolutely one of my favorites. Easy to walk to from the LRT and bus stops and in the trendy Stephen Ave area, its atmosphere is awesome. The prices are competitive and specials are on everyday of the week. It is certainly one of the most affordable pubs out there - serving $6 Caesars even on Saturdays. With live music, too, its a busy and energetic place. Definitely recommend it!

With over 100 beers to choose from this bar is unique. I love the atmosphere and decoration and it's fine trying a new beer you would have never thought to try. Always a good time!

Dieter and Jill have owned Westcreek Pub since they opened it back in 2001. Dieter's spent most of his life working in the hospitality industry, and always wanted to own his own neighbourhood pub and restaurant; the sort of place where everyone's welcome. Jill stuck by him, and discovered an amazing talent for managing the place. Westcreek has good food, good music, and great customers - just outside of Calgary on the Western edge of Chestermere, it's become the destination of choice for those who need to get out of the city for a spell. The food we serve - wings, smoked meat, sauces, burgers (well, not the buns or ketchup) - is homemade from scratch! There's a bar on one side, and a family-friendly dining room on the other.
