Welcome to 'Traditions'. We are an R.A.D (Royal Academy of Dance) and an I.S.T.D. (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) Syllabus Academy of Dance and a member of the prestigious Teacher-organization, Dance Educators of America - Canada. Our studio is conveniently located with ample parking near downtown Whitby at 307 Brock Street North. 'Traditions' offers a wide range of exciting programs for the recreational dancer as well as the more serious-minded or pre-professional dance student. Having a dual-syllabus program adds significant enhancement to the dancer's technique! Current programs include: Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Acro, and the new R.A.D Pre-School Program. Our highly qualified and experienced adult faculty welcomes students from the age of 2½.

Twinkletoes Studio of Dance and Performing Arts is the premier dance school in Durham and Northumberland Regions. We have two schools located in Ajax and Cobourg Ontario. The high points of our school are small class sizes, certified dance instructors, adult teachers, free DVD of our year end show and costumes for recreational students are included. Certification of our teachers include Dance Masters of America, British Association of Teachers of Dance, Canadian Dance Teachers Association, and Royal Academy of Dance. Twinkletoes Studio of Dance and Performing Arts students like to jazz it up in a number of different classes: jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, boys hip hop, acro, musical theatre, stretch & strength, pointe, pre-ballet, pre-acro and wiggles & giggles. Twinkletoes offers dance, aerial contortion, fitness, straps and silks classes. Twinkletoes Cobourg can be found inside The Cobourg Centre for Performing Arts. Sky's The Limit Productions.

We Litty is a wellness and activity center offering various classes for kids and adults. We provide top-of-the-line customer service, ensuring that we always cater to our customers' needs. We are an activity center for personal development specializing in dance, urban choreography and fitness. Our mission is to help individuals find their passion in life through creative programs to promote self-improvement; mind, body, and soul. We never compromise on quality, and our services are always executed with precision and care.

Samantha Brooks - B.F.A. owner/Artistic Director is a professional teacher with an extensive dance background. She has been teaching dance in the GTA for 10 years. Sam is thrilled to be opening her own studio to share her passion and knowledge of dance with her students. She was teaching in York Region and has won numerous awards for her choreography and costumes at various competitions. Our studio is a bright, newly renovated 1300 square foot space with an inviting parent lounge/viewing area. There are two large wheelchair accessible men’s and women’s washrooms located directly outside of the entrance to the studio. As well as a single washroom located within the studio for the students. There is free wifi, and ample parking available. Our Space is available for rental opportunities, please contact the office for availability.
